We have 4 ways to help clients pay their bills.\u00a0 While we attempt to keep our prices very reasonable, in the end there are people that are unable to pay all-at-once for the best healthcare for their pets.\u00a0 While we believe every client comes in with the intention of providing the ultimate care the reality is that some people, like some of us, live paycheck to paycheck.\u00a0 So we offer financing options some of which have deferred interest or interest-waived periods so that you pay no interest or finance charges if you are able to pay off your principal within 6 months.<\/p>\n
Scratch<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is my favorite out of the financing that we offer.\u00a0 If Scratch<\/a> offers you an “Interest Waived Offer” we recommend taking advantage of that.\u00a0 Here how it works: First<\/em><\/span>, know that Scratch<\/a> does NOT do a hard credit check to determine your eligibility for financing.\u00a0 Second<\/em><\/span>, Scratch<\/a> is NOT a credit card so the approval rate is higher due to the fact that you apply only when you need funds.\u00a0 Third<\/em><\/span>, we\u2019re excited to offer Scratch<\/a>, if approved, their offer may include payment plans with <\/span>interest completely waived for the first 6 months<\/strong>\u00a0if the balance is paid in full within that time.<\/span> and in the end it would have cost you nothing.<\/p>\n You may be wondering “what is the catch here, how do they make money?”\u00a0 That is an easy one to answer, our clinic pays a premium on each “loan” to allow clients to get the “interest-waived period” offer while still providing the lending company funds to keep “going”.<\/p>\n Click on the Scratch<\/a> logo below (or the word to the left), type in your phone number and get started.\u00a0 In about 90 seconds, you will be told what plans Scratch<\/a> can offer you and once you choose a plan, further instructions will be provided.\u00a0 You only have to fill out very basic information.\u00a0 Because of the way Scratch<\/a> works, you need to have an idea of what the final bill may be when applying.\u00a0 Here are “safe” amounts for you to ask for.\u00a0 You DO NOT need to use all the funds that are made available to you and will only need to pay back the amount you actually use.\u00a0<\/strong> The reasons these limits are likely higher than what your visit will cost we recommend higher amounts just to just give you some room to get additional services or products if you change your mind during your exam when your options are explained to you.\u00a0 While you can get an exam and a rabies vaccine for around $100.00 there are other vaccines that may be recommend that in the end you may decide you want to get based on those recommendations.\u00a0 Just having the piece of mind to be flexible, in my humble opinion, is worth it.\u00a0 Currently our exam rate is $70.19 as of October 2025, that along with a rabies vaccination (if due) is the only required amount you would definitely owe at your visit.\u00a0 Every other service or item is YOUR<\/strong> choice.\u00a0 We DO NOT<\/strong> recommend any services or items that are not medically ethical for your particular pet.<\/p>\n For example an annual wellness visits with all of the vaccines, x-rays, bloodwork and a year’s worth of flea and tick preventative, we recommend asking for $1,000.00, but this number is fluid depending on what all you want to get.<\/p>\n For sick pet visits we recommend asking for $1,500.00<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n We partner with Scratch<\/a> to make it easier to manage pet care costs. NMLS ID 1582666<\/em><\/p>\n We have other financing options.\u00a0 Two of them being CareCredit and AllPetCard which are both credit cards.\u00a0 If you sign up for these as long as you make the required payments on time, you can continue to use these visit after visit.\u00a0 They both offer deferred interest plans but they are credit cards and have a more involved approval process than Scratch.\u00a0 While CareCredit and AllPetsCard have their benefits, their approval process is more in-depth because you are getting a revolving credit line that you can use over and over.\u00a0 If you credit score is good or at least descent and you have multiple pets this may be a good option for you.\u00a0 I currently have CareCredit but would opt to use Scratchpay just because they are so easy to work with.<\/p>\n I have included those options below as well so you can compare them when making YOUR<\/strong> decision.<\/p>\n The last option I wanted to talk about is an in-house PRE-PAYMENT option<\/a><\/strong> that lowers the risk of you needing to come up with funds all at once.\u00a0 Here is how it works.\u00a0 AFTER you pay your bill for your current visit, you can set up to have money deposited into your account every 2 weeks or every month.\u00a0 Since these funds are yours, you obviously would never be charged any interest to use them.\u00a0 At your next annual visit, those funds would be available to you to use to help off-set the cost of that visit with the services you want for your pet.\u00a0 \u00a0If something happens and you choose not to bring your pet into our clinic, you can request a refund of your pre-payment funds at any time.\u00a0 The Pre-Payment information can be found here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n
